Flat markers are flush memorials also known as grass markers. This type of marker has expanded dramatically in cemeteries on the west coast. Flat markers are easier to maintain than upright memorials and give the cemetery a park-like appearance. Flat memorials can also come in any size and a variety of shapes. You will typically see a rectangular marker due to most cemetery regulations.
